Bob Leonti served on board the Tam from 1966 to 1970.

"I served aboard Tamaroa from 6/66 to 6/70 and loved every minute of my duty aboard. Enclosed find a few photos, enjoy. I am currently building a model of Tamaroa and will send photos of my progress on it, should be interesting. So far I have the shaft log, prop, reduction gear (3:1) and strut installed, everything will be scratch built except the hull which I bought (fiberglass) from the Scale Shipyard. It's 1/4 scale and measures 51 1/4" by 9 5/8". -- Capt. Bob Leonti
