S I S T E R S H I P S
The Tamaroa had five "sister" ships that were transferred, at one time or another into the Coast Guard Service. These were the Avoyel, Cherokee, Chilula, Lipan and Ute. I have not included the over 90 other ATF's that served in the US Naval Service. For information on those, please go to the National Association of Fleet Tug Sailors.
If anyone has information on the Tamaroa's sister ships please let us know.
